3. Piano face
In order to fully vibrate, the panel is generally made of pine such as paulownia and Chinese fir. It is tile-shaped from the inside out and bonded with the bottom plate to form a piano. Guqin is coated with a base tire made of raw lacquer and antler cream powder. The raw lacquer is dried, smoothed and wiped several times. The wood on the piano surface must be carefully selected and the texture should be straight and symmetrical.
