How to add fluoride to air conditioner? Can you do it yourself?

You can add fluoride to the air conditioner yourself. The method of adding fluoride is as follows:

Tools: Midea air conditioner kFR-35GW, pressure gauge, compressor, fluoride pipe, Freon bottle, detergent .

1. First use a fluorine-filled hose to connect the refrigerant cylinder, repair meter and fluorine filling port, and remove the air in the hose.

2. Start the compressor and charge the refrigerant gas using the pressure difference between the cylinder and the refrigeration system.

3. During the fluorine filling process, it is necessary to observe changes in the pressure gauge pointer at all times. Keep the pressure gauge pointer within the range of 0.45-0.5Mpa by intermittently filling it with fluorine, and cannot exceed this range, otherwise it will affect the air conditioning compressor.

4. After 30 minutes of trial operation of the air conditioner, if the air conditioner operates normally, it means that the fluoride addition is basically successful. Otherwise, there may be a leak in the air conditioning copper pipe or interface.

5. After the air conditioner is shut down, try to use detergent to check all suspected leak points to avoid Freon leaking again.
