Longkou vermicelli
Zhaoyuan is a famous "hometown of silver silk" at home and abroad, and it is the birthplace and main producing area of Longkou vermicelli. The production of vermicelli has a history of more than 3 years. In 186, in order to distinguish the foreign vermicelli with messy powder, Zhaoyuan vermicelli was changed from Yantai to Longkou packaging and shipped abroad, and it was called "Longkou vermicelli". In 1934, "China Industrial Records" contained: "The vermicelli industry is a specialty of Shandong Province, which is especially famous for its Zhaoyuan production ... Only Zhaoyuan produces the purest raw materials and is trusted by vendors." Because Longkou fans have a long-standing reputation, Shandong foreign trade department has been exporting under this name since the founding of the People's Republic of China, making Longkou fans a commodity name for Shandong fans. However, Zhaoyuan, as the birthplace of Longkou fans, has always been the largest production base for Longkou fans. Longkou vermicelli produced by Zhaoyuan is thin and even, smooth and transparent, and flexible in texture. It does not change color or swell after being soaked in water for 48 hours. It is tasty and pure in taste. It has successively won the provincial, ministerial, national and national quality gold medals, the China Agricultural Expo gold medal and the national excellent product review gold medal. The "Tapai" Longkou vermicelli has won the "Jinguiye" award awarded by the International Food and Tourism Association and is known as a "vermicelli" in the world. At present, there are nearly 2 professional vermicelli manufacturers in the city, with an annual output of over 1, tons of Longkou vermicelli. On September 19th, 24, Zhaoyuan City was named "China Fans Capital" by China Agricultural Society.
Red Fuji Apples
In 1967, Zhaoyuan introduced Fuji apple scions for grafting, and in 1981, it adopted the new technology of high-magnification propagation to quickly raise seedlings. By 1988, the city had developed 1, mu of red Fuji apples, making it the largest county and city in China with the highest yield at that time. After 9' s, with science and technology as the guide, we vigorously promoted new technologies such as orchard film mulching, straw mulching and bagging, wall bee pollination and reflective film laying, and strived to improve fruit quality. Thanks to Zhaoyuan's unique natural conditions and advanced production technology, the red Fuji apples produced are bright and straight in color, refreshing in taste, crisp and sweet in juice, long-term storage and rich in nutrition. After 1994, at the first, second and third national agricultural fairs, the red Fuji apples produced in Zhaoyuan, Luguan, Zhaoyuan and Fuguan, won gold medals successively.
