What is the X-ray room for?
The X-ray room in the hospital is used to irradiate the human body with X-rays and see through the human body for medical examination. X-rays can also be used for engineering quality inspection. If the metal parts are irradiated with X-rays, defects in the metal parts, such as bubbles, sand holes and cracks, can be found. This is X-ray inspection (fluoroscopy). If the human body (or object) is irradiated by X-rays, an X-ray sensitive film is placed behind the human body. After X-ray irradiation, the X-ray photographic film is developed and fixed on the X-ray film with a special fixing solution. This is the medical X-ray we usually see in the hospital. The X-ray room in a hospital is a room dedicated to X-ray fluoroscopy or medical examination.
