5. In order to further optimize the layout of pharmacies and facilitate the public’s purchase of medicines, it is stipulated that pharmacies are not allowed to be opened in basements of non-public commercial facilities and buildings above two floors, and in large commercial centers and other crowded places. There are no distance restrictions on the opening of internal retail chain pharmacies.
6. Starting from the requirements of improving the supervision efficiency of drug retail enterprises and improving drug traceability capabilities, this revision strengthens the regulations on enterprises’ implementation of information management, and clearly requires that drug retail enterprises should establish computer information management The system implements information management of the entire operation and management process and quality control, and is qualified to accept electronic supervision and traceability supervision from the drug regulatory department.
7. Starting from the requirements of the relevant pharmaceutical retail market structure, a series of measures to encourage the chain operation of pharmaceutical retail enterprises have been proposed in terms of access standards. On the one hand, the requirements for the number of stores of chain enterprises have been reduced. On the other hand, in view of the characteristics of chain enterprises sharing logistics, quality management and other resources, the area requirements of retail chain stores have been reduced, and the distance restrictions on the layout of chain stores have been relaxed. There is no distance restriction between stores of the same chain enterprise.
Be careful when joining a pharmacy:
Franchisees must have a complete and clear franchise system, from decoration and site selection to daily operations, product supply, etc. Provide specific guidance and support to franchisees. In addition, after joining, whether relying on the franchiser's advantage of bulk purchasing can reduce the price of drugs in stores and increase profit margins are issues that franchisees need to consider. It is best not to choose those franchisees that charge franchise fees just for providing drugstore brands.
