How long is the validity of trademark registration?
1. The period of validity of a trademark mainly refers to the period of validity during which the exclusive right to use a trademark is protected. According to Article 39 of China's Trademark Law, the period of validity of a registered trademark is ten years, counting from the date of approval.

2. Article 40 of China's Trademark Law also stipulates that if a registered trademark needs to continue to be used after its expiration, the trademark registrant shall go through the renewal procedures in accordance with the regulations within 12 months before the expiration. If it is not handled within this period, a grace period of six months may be granted, and the validity period of each renewal registration is ten years, counting from the day after the previous expiration of the trademark. If the renewal formalities are not completed at the expiration of the period, the registered trademark shall be cancelled.

According to relevant laws and regulations, although the exclusive right to use a trademark has a time limit, there is no limit on the number of renewals. Enterprises can apply for renewal every ten years, which is also the exclusive right of trademark that the law should enjoy in order to protect enterprises.
