When a car collides, the car airbag can reduce the head injury rate by 25% and the face injury rate by about 80%.
Airbags are not used in daily driving, and some car owners don't care when there is a fault, but once an accident occurs, the airbag can't pop up, which will bring serious life damage to drivers and passengers. For safety reasons, it is necessary to check when the fault light comes on.
The principle of automobile airbag is as follows:
1. When a car collides while driving, firstly, the airbag sensor receives the collision signal. As long as the specified intensity is reached, the sensor will act and send a signal to the electronic controller.
2. After receiving the signal, the electronic controller compares it with its original stored signal, and if the airbag deployment condition is met, the driving circuit sends a start signal to the gas generator in the airbag module;
3. After receiving the signal, the gas generator ignites the gas generant to generate a large amount of gas, which enters the airbag after filtering and cooling, so that the airbag can break through the buffer pad and expand rapidly in a very short time, forming an elastic air cushion in front of the driver or passenger, leaking and contracting in time to absorb the impact energy, thus effectively protecting the head and chest of the human body from injury or reducing the degree of injury.
