Thailand adopts Nice Agreement on the International Classification of Goods and Services as the classification standard for trademarks of goods and services. Trademark rights are obtained on the principle of combining use with registration, and applications for registration of commodity trademarks, service trademarks, certification trademarks, collective trademarks, joint trademarks and color trademarks are accepted.
