Is the license contract valid after trademark transfer?
Legal subjectivity:

In the absence of special agreement, the license contract that came into effect before the trademark transfer is still valid after the trademark transfer.

According to the provisions of Article 20 of the Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Laws in the Trial of Trademark Civil Disputes, the transfer of a registered trademark does not affect the effectiveness of the trademark license contract that has come into effect before the transfer, except as otherwise agreed in the trademark license contract.

Paragraph 1 of Article 42 of the Trademark Law stipulates that if a registered trademark is assigned, the assignor and the assignee shall sign an assignment agreement and file an application with the Trademark Office.
