Trademark objection is stipulated by Chinese law. For trademarks actively examined and preliminarily examined by the Trademark Office, the legal procedure of passive examination is open to the public in the form of trademark announcement and subject to public supervision. If there are different opinions and clear reasons for the preliminary examination and approval of a trademark, an application for objection may be filed with the Trademark Office within 3 months from the date of the announcement of the preliminary examination and approval, requesting the cancellation of the preliminary examination and approval and rejecting the application for registration of the trademark.
