Because James loves this word so much, he recently submitted an application to formally register "TacoTuesday" as a trademark. According to the US Patent and Trademark Office, James' LBJ Company submitted an application for registering TacoTuesday as a trademark on August 15.
The registration scope includes downloadable videos, podcasts, marketing, blogs and online entertainment services, "that is, providing downloadable videos and social media posts covering sports, entertainment, current affairs and pop culture."
TacoTuesday has become an American custom, and James often takes photos of him and his family enjoying tortillas on Tuesday on social networks. Whether the trademark registration is successful or not, James has successfully set off a "Tuesday tortilla" craze.
