The "round sky and square square" architectural design of the Head Office of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is an important landmark building on Chang'an Avenue.

Instituted in 1984, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is the first of the five major banks in China, one of the world's top 500 companies, and the largest commercial bank in China with the largest customer base in China.
