There are six automobile factories in Shanghai, namely Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai Automobile, Shanghai Zhonghui, Shanghai Shenwo and Shanghai Huapu.

1. Shanghai Volkswagen

SAIC Volkswagen Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SAIC Volkswagen") is a Sino-German joint venture jointly operated by SAIC and Audi Co., Ltd. 2. Shanghai Automobile

It was formally established on January 11th, 1992. Shanghai Zhonghui is the backbone supporting supplier of all kinds of automobile chassis systems of Shanghai Volkswagen and Shanghai GM, and won the "Excellent Supplier Gold Award" of Shanghai Volkswagen and the "Global Project Award" of Shanghai GM.

5. Shanghai Shenwo

Shanghai Shenwo is composed of Shanghai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (SAIC), Volvo (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (VIC) and Sweden Volvo Bus Company (VBC), with a total investment of 97 million US dollars and a registered capital of 54.22 million US dollars, 5% for both Chinese and foreign parties, and its registered place is No.18 Guangzhong Road, Minhang District, Shanghai, China.

6. Shanghai Huapu

Shanghai Huapu Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Huapu) is located in Fengjing Industrial Park, Jinshan District, Shanghai, adjacent to Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, only 8 kilometers away from Shanghai Port and the Yangtze River estuary.
