Zhangxiang dog meat
There is a famous historical dish in Zhangxiang-dog meat, which is talked about by people who have been to Zhangxiang or know Zhangxiang. Although I dare not say that it is famous in the world, Fengcheng or beyond is well known to all women and children. People in Zhangxiang like to keep dogs. Every family has a dog. In the rural area of Zhangxiang, a village may not find a pig because of large-scale pig raising, but every family has several dogs. Without local people, outsiders dare not rush into the village, because the team that welcomes dogs is really big and warm. Zhangxiang people like to eat dog meat, which has a long history and can be traced back to the Tang and Song Dynasties. Dog meat is delicious food and the best aphrodisiac. Dog meat rolls three times, and the fairy can't stand still; Steamed dog meat will make Lv Dongbin greedy. Dog meat is on the market in large quantities in winter, and eating dog meat in winter is a great supplement. Now we also eat dog meat in June. It is said that winter supplements and summer cools. Zhangxiang people are good at eating dog meat. Dog meat in Zhangxiang is different. Dog meat in other places is sold raw, and dog meat in Zhangxiang is sold cooked; Dog meat in other places is sold half-cooked, and dog meat in Zhangxiang is sold fully cooked; Dog meat in other places is boiled, and dog meat in Zhangxiang is steamed. That taste is really special. I feel too bald to find the right words to express it. Only after I have tasted it can I appreciate its delicacy. Due to the large number of people eating and the large sales volume, there is a dog meat street in Zhangxiang Town, which can sell more than 100 dogs a day. Dog meat street, stalls one after another, piles of dog meat, steaming, floating fragrance, emitting intoxicating temptation. Sellers never shout, calmly and confidently waiting for customers to come one by one, which has the flavor that the emperor's daughter is not worried about marriage.
It is very special for Zhangxiang people to eat dog meat. People rushed to the street, near noon, went to the store to soak a few ounces of white wine, bought half a catty of dog meat at the dog meat stall, sliced it, sipped wine with the bowl, soy sauce and Chili powder on the dog meat stall, and chewed a piece of original dog meat dipped in soy sauce, which made them feel relaxed and flattered, sizzling and making them warm all over. If you are not shy in your bag and are full of wine and meat, you can buy one Jin and two Jin, carry them in your hand, burp and smell incense, and go home to treat the old and young at home. The whole dog meat street is like a food festival. It's crowded with people and smells all over the sky. Nine times out of ten, passers-by will get stuck in this scene and sit down and eat.
Snacks summarized by local people:
Stir-fried powder has a long history in Fengcheng. In fact, it is a specialty of Nanchang, and it was directly crowned with the title of "Nanchang Fried Powder". In the eyes of Fengcheng people, it has long been their own craft. From stalls and food stalls frequented regularly to high-end restaurants and hotels, some even changed "Nanchang fried powder" to "Fengcheng fried powder".
Oil cake is my personal favorite. The two houses opposite the town became one, which was only sold when the students went to school. More pitifully, oil cakes are not the main products, and have been replaced by boiled water (this will be said later). . . I remember there used to be three in Lujiaxiang, except two in the town and one near the second elementary school. It's a pity that the extinct two are oversized! Other places selling oil cakes include: Feng Fan (sometimes located opposite Boya), Janice Lane (a street with a red light:), Xilu Street, Dongfanghong Street, Renmin Road 12 and Hu Sha Park Road. I'm not sure about the rest. Say hello if you know anything. Another reason why he likes to eat oil cakes is that he usually fries pumpkin cakes, hemp balls (that is, happy camels in Wuhan) and horns. You know, junior high school and high school all eat oil cakes.
The barbecue left a deep impression on me. There was a time in high school when I went to dinner with my friends every day. The barbecue and drinks in the street garden are very delicious. I remember putting more ketchup when I used to eat, and the beef skewers were quite good. I even drool at the thought of fried rice cakes! But what I am doing now makes me very disappointed. There are also very few varieties. I only dare to drink fruit juice. I dare not drink milk tea once. . .
Senior one and senior two also eat more boiled water. It seems to be sold in junior high school. This thing is similar to kebabs in Wuhan, but more expensive than kebabs. There are not so many kinds, but the powder and mushrooms are good.
Let's list the others once: mutton kebabs sold by Xinjiang people, Ciba, eight-treasure porridge ice cream sold by carts, tea eggs, zongzi and steamed cakes. There is also a name that I forgot. In the middle are red cylindrical cakes, Shaoxing brand stinky tofu and Lanzhou Lamian Noodles. . . . . .
