Why are some LV bags not numbered?
in fact, the first two English letters of lv bag code represent the place of production, and the last four digits, 13 digits are the production week and 24 digits are the production year. But last year and this year, two of my lv packages were coded with numbers such as sp71/fl9/ (the first one was purchased in Switzerland and the second one was purchased in Taiwan Province). The first coded package was not an antique package, so it can't be produced in 7 years. The second code, in the common sense known before, does not have the production place code fl, and what week is ? In view of this question, I specifically asked the shopping guide at the counter and the customer service in official website, and clearly answered me that this code does not simply represent the production week and year, but some of them are just internal codes, such as the material of the bag, etc ... Even the chain louise series bags have no codes at all. I wonder, is it because there are too many fakes in lv now, and all factories know how to get a version of the code, so as to deliberately produce some unexpected codes for anti-counterfeiting? Therefore, it's best to buy big-name bags at counters or familiar sellers, otherwise, one day you will laugh at others for buying a bag at the counter without coding, which will be a shame!
