2001

From January to March, Cai Jun completed his first novel "Virus".

From March to May, "Virus" was serialized on the Banyan Tree website, which attracted strong attention from netizens and became the first full-length "suspense horror" novel on the Chinese Internet.

In June, a full-length work in progress was lost due to a computer virus.

From September to November, he completed his second novel "Curse". From then on, he stopped publishing his works on the Internet and began to directly contact publishing.

2002

In January, the novella "Flying" won the Novel Award in the 3rd Banyan Tree Original Literature Grand Prix.

In April, "Virus" was published by China Drama Publishing House. This is Cai Jun's first personal book. Thanks to Mr. Zhang Ying for the introduction, and Mr. Yan Ping, a senior in the publishing industry.

In October, the TV series "The Soul in Loulan" adapted from "The Curse" began to be broadcast on local stations. The heroine is Ning Jing. This is also Cai Jun's first work to be adapted for the screen.
