IQ (English: IQ), that is, IQ (Intelligence)
Quotient is an indicator of individual intelligence test scores and the scores of subjects of the same age, and a standard to measure individual intelligence level. The concept of IQ was put forward by Stanford University psychologist Professor Terman.
At the beginning of the 20th century, French psychologist Binet.Alfred. Alfred (Alfred
Binet,1857-1911) and his students compiled the first set of intelligence scale in the world. According to this intelligence scale, the average IQ of ordinary people is set at 100, while the IQ of normal people is mostly between 85 and 16544 according to this test. Intelligence is controlled by heredity and cannot be artificially changed.
Due to congenital factors, people's intellectual development will be different. To measure people's intellectual development level at this age through a series of standard tests, it must be combined with mental IQ (SQ). It is the ability of people to know objective things and use knowledge to solve practical problems. Intelligence is manifested in many aspects, such as observation, memory, imagination, creativity, analytical judgment, thinking, adaptability, reasoning and so on. , including quotient (CQ). At present, intelligence consists of three abilities: short-term memory ability, reasoning ability and language ability.
Later, Professor Terman introduced this scale to the United States and revised it to Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale, taking the ratio of psychological age to physiological age as an index to evaluate children's intelligence level. This ratio is called IQ, which is expressed by the formula: IQ =MA (psychological age) /CA (physiological age) × 100. People call this IQ ratio IQ.
