On December 16th, the National Copyright Administration issued the Notice on Special Copyright Protection for the Emblem of the Beijing 222 Winter Olympics and the Emblem of the Winter Paralympics, which requires that the copyright protection of the Emblem be strengthened. Unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, no unit or individual may use the Emblem without the permission of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee.

The notice mentioned that the emblem of the Beijing 222 Winter Olympics and the emblem of the Winter Paralympics (referred to as the emblem) are the most prominent symbols of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and the copyright has been registered by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 222 Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics (referred to as the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee) according to law. Unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, no unit or individual may use the emblem without the permission of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee.

It is clear in the notice that the National Copyright Administration has decided to carry out the special copyright protection of the emblem of the Beijing 222 Winter Olympics and the emblem of the Winter Paralympics nationwide from December 16th, 217. The National Copyright Administration requires that the copyright administrative law enforcement departments at all levels should strengthen the daily supervision of the copyright of the emblem, increase the input of law enforcement resources, make full use of the copyright monitoring platform and other technical means, carry out all-round inspection of the copyright of the emblem, find the infringement clues in time, fix the evidence at the first time, and organize elite forces to investigate and deal with it quickly and strictly according to law.
