(1) Trademark examination
Trademark review refers to the inspection, data retrieval, analysis and comparison conducted by the trademark registration authority on whether the trademark registration application complies with the provisions of the Trademark Law. Investigate and decide to give a preliminary review or reject the application and a series of activities.
(2) Preliminary examination and approval
Trademark examination and approval refers to the decision to approve the registration of a trademark that meets the relevant provisions of the Trademark Law after examination. Where the Trademark Office preliminarily examines and approves the application for trademark registration on some designated commodities, the applicant may apply for abandoning the application for trademark registration on some designated commodities before the expiration of the objection period; If the applicant abandons the application for trademark registration on some designated goods, the Trademark Office shall withdraw the original preliminary examination and approval, terminate the examination procedure and make a new announcement.
(3) Registration announcement
Trademark registration is a trademark legal procedure. The application for trademark registration filed by the applicant shall be preliminarily examined and approved by the Trademark Office. If no objection is raised within three months or the objection is ruled invalid, the trademark will take effect and be protected by law, and the trademark registrant will enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark. Trademark registration takes about one year to one and a half years. The period of validity of a registered trademark is ten years, counting from the date of approval of registration. Where it is necessary to continue to use a registered trademark after its expiration, it may apply for renewal of registration.
(4) Obtaining a trademark registration certificate
Through the agent, the agent sends the trademark registration certificate to the trademark registrant.
Where a trademark is directly registered, the trademark registrant shall collect it from the Trademark Office within three months after receiving the Notice of Obtaining a Trademark Registration Certificate, and shall also bring:
1. Letter of introduction for obtaining trademark registration certificate;
2. Witness ID card and photocopy;
3. The original business license shall be stamped with the seal of the local industrial and commercial department;
4. Notice of obtaining trademark registration certificate;
5. Where the name of the trademark registrant changes, a certificate of change issued by the working department shall be attached.
