How to use tile adhesive How to use tile adhesive

As we all know, cement mortar is generally used to lay ceramic tiles, but in recent years, there have been more tile adhesives on the market, and I don’t know which one is easier to use!

Let’s look at cement mortar first. It is mainly cement, with yellow sand and some waterproof additives added, and then mixed with water. It is basically zero pollution, has high adhesion, and the price is favorable.

But the bad thing is that cement mortar is affected by many external factors and easily falls off. Furthermore, the hardness of ceramic tiles on the market is getting higher and higher. The key point is that the water absorption is not good, so the ceramic tiles often fall off.

From the outside, tile adhesive is similar to cement. It is mainly mixed with water and then used directly to lay tiles. But tile adhesive has an advantage that cement does not have, that is, it is less affected by external factors and is resistant to low temperatures and water. The disadvantage may be that the price is too expensive, and many bad tile adhesives on the market are over-the-counter, and there may even be problems with excessive formaldehyde.

Compared with cement and tile adhesive, tile adhesive has better adhesion performance. The key point is that there is no need to run the tiles in advance, just apply them directly. There is no need to paint a thick layer on the wall, it is basically very strong when you stick it on.

Of course, good things are generally more expensive, so there is no need to use tile glue in all places. It can be used in the kitchen and bathroom, because these places are often wet, so use ordinary cement. Comes off easily.
