First, install the software and drivers.

1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. If it doesn't start automatically, open the file on the CD and double-click Setup.exe. Installation tips Install the P-touch software step by step.

2. Select the driving model of the labeling machine according to the prompt. When prompted, connect the label printer to the computer with USB data cable, and then turn on the power of the labeler. Once the labeler is detected, the driver will be installed automatically.

Second, connect to the computer.

Connect the label printer to the computer using the interface data cable.

Third, install the ribbon.

1. Select the type of ribbon that can be used according to the model of the labeler used. Before installing the ribbon, turn off the power of the labeling machine to ensure that the end of the ribbon passes through the ribbon guide groove correctly. If the ribbon is loose, turn the gear with your finger in the direction of the arrow on the ribbon box.

2. Installation Instructions Install the ribbon correctly, press the power button of the labeler, and then press the ribbon feed/cut button to eliminate the ribbon slack.

3. Only when the roller assembly of the printer is loosened can the ribbon box be taken out. If you press the power button on the front of the printer or do nothing within 10 minutes after printing the label, the label will be released automatically.

Fourth, create a print label to be printed.

1. Start the P-touchEditor software and enter the label text and other information in the P-touchEditor. After editing, press the preview button to display the preview screen (print content, loaded ribbon width and print length).

2. After confirmation, press Direct Print to print the label.

Pay attention when using label printers.

1. After the label printer works for a long time, due to the influence of high temperature, the print head is easy to absorb fine substances such as chips, which will lead to printing problems such as horizontal lines and unclear handwriting on the printed labels. Therefore, it is very necessary to clean the print head frequently and keep it clean, which can not only obtain good printing effect, but also prolong the life of the print head.

2. If the label ribbon is stuck, first take out the ribbon box, carefully pull out the stuck label ribbon, and then cut off the deformed label ribbon with scissors. Then flatten the ribbon cassette head, make sure that the label tape has passed through the label tape guide groove correctly, and finally reinstall the label tape on the printer.

3. When using the printer, try to reduce the pressure of the print head and the temperature generated by printing. Ensure the width of the ribbon and label to prevent the label from being scratched due to the exposure of the print head.

In order to make the print head play its best role, we should clean the print head every time we use a roll of ribbon or a circle of thermal paper.
