I. Civil procedure

7. Administrative cases are paid according to the following standards:

(1). Pay each trademark, patent and maritime administrative case 100 yuan;

(2) Every 50 yuan in other administrative cases.

8. If the parties object to the jurisdiction of the case, and the objection is not established, they shall pay 50 yuan to 100 yuan for each piece.

3. What if the defendant does not appear in court?

If the defendant does not appear in court, the judicial organ may make different treatments according to different situations:

1. The defendant must appear in court. For example, if a defendant in a divorce case does not appear in court, he may be summoned to appear in court. Article 109 of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates: "If the defendant who must appear in court refuses to appear in court after two summonses without justifiable reasons, the people's court may summon him." Summons can only be applied to defendants who have to appear in court.

2. The defendant who does not have to appear in court can be treated as a default judgment, which will not affect the normal trial of the case. Article 144 of the Civil Procedure Law stipulates that if the defendant refuses to appear in court without justifiable reasons after being summoned by summons, or withdraws from court without the permission of the court, he may make a judgment by default.
