Wang Rong

Wang Jie

Wang Jie (1725-February 9, 185), a great man, was born in Hancheng, Shaanxi. The top scholar and famous minister in the Qing Dynasty was the first famous minister in Shaanxi in the Qing Dynasty. Huairang

Huairang (677-744) was a Zen monk in the Tang Dynasty. According to "Biography of Song Monks" Volume IX and "Record of Jingdezhen Chuandeng" Volume five years, the common surname is Du. Jinzhou Ankang (now Hanyin, Shaanxi) people. Ten years old, elegant and good Buddhist books. About twenty years old, he became a monk at Yi Hengjing (634-712) in yuquan temple, Jingzhou. Later, he went to Hui 'an, Songshan (582-79) to study Zen, and then went to Caoxi, Shaozhou (now Shaoguan, Guangdong) to pay homage to Huineng, where he was enlightened. After Huineng's death, he went to Guanyintai, prajna temple, Nanyue in the second year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (713) to promote Huineng's theory and open a series of Nanyue, known as "Nanyue Huairang".

He and Xing Si have divided five schools of Zen successively, namely, Luyang, Linji, Caodong, Yunmen and Fayan, among which Linji Sect under Huaiyang in Nanyue has a long history and great influence.
