At the end of August 2012, Microsoft officially announced a new corporate logo (Logo) that was changed for the first time in 25 years. Microsoft's new Logo is different from the past and consists of two parts, the logo and the trademark. The logo part is a four-color Windows window, using the Windows 8 style. The trademark part is still Microsoft, but the Segoe font is used.
As for the logo in Microsoft’s new logo, some people pointed out that these four colors represent different departments or product lines, and these four colors have already been used in Microsoft products. In this regard, a Microsoft employee analyzed it on the MSDN blog. Let’s take a look:
1. Blue is Microsoft’s most classic color, including Windows, Windows Live, Windows Server, SQL Server, Azure, Outlook.com and IE both use blue logos.
2. Red represents Office
3. Green represents Xbox and Xbox Live
4. Yellow seems to be Bing
