Different components

The density board is mainly made of wood fiber or plant fiber, and urea-formaldehyde resin is used as adhesive. Wood-plastic composite board is made by mixing plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride with more than 50% waste plant fibers such as wood flour, rice husk and straw.

Different application fields

Density board is mainly used for furniture flooring, interior decoration and packaging accessories, while wood-plastic composite board is widely used in building materials, furniture and logistics packaging industries.

Different production processes

The production technology of MDF mainly includes fiber pulping, forming, drying, trimming and polishing. Wood-plastic composite board needs to go through a series of processing techniques such as extrusion, molding and injection molding to finally produce new composite materials.
