Basic Overview
Hualong District of Puyang City is located in the northeast of Henan Province, at the junction of Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces. It was established in 1986, with a total area of ??119 square kilometers and a population of 344,000. . It is the only jurisdiction of Puyang City that integrates National Sanitary City, National Garden City, National Civilized City, National Historical and Cultural City, International Garden City, China Excellent Tourism City, China Living Environment Example Award and national and provincial petrochemical industry bases. Puyang is a national historical and cultural city and one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation. According to the ancient cultural sites excavated by archaeologists in the territory, early human civilization existed here seven or eight thousand years ago. 5,000 years ago this was the activity center of Zhuan Xu, one of the Five Emperors, and his tribe.
