How to identify whether an electrical appliance is genuine:
First, check whether there is a trademark or brand name printed on the packaging box, and there is a small R printed on the upper right corner or lower right corner. Words, such as: SHARPPOR (Sharp), TOSHIBAOR (Toshiba), etc. The letter R is the prefix of the English word REGISTER, which means "registered". Only when the quality of the product is recognized by the company, can it have the right to use this kind of packaging. Therefore, as long as you see the "R" word, you can consider buying it, and those fake products will not.
Also, check the name of the place of origin. If there is a mark on the back cover of the appliance that is made in the country of production (such as Made in Japan) or the region of production (Made in Hong Kong), it can be distinguished whether it is a locally made product or a product of a subsidiary. Some home appliances do not indicate the place of origin. You can ask the seller for the product instruction manual to check. If the printing location is printed on the first page of the instruction manual, it can be determined that the product is produced by a semi-finished product processing manufacturer in that place. For example, the instructions for Sharp products are printed with The words Printed in SINGA PORE indicate that this is a Sharp product processed and produced in Singapore. Products assembled by official domestic manufacturers generally do not have the R mark on the packaging box, but the name of the manufacturer should be printed on the packaging box or instructions. Products without instructions or certification must not be purchased.
Second, most foreign companies use their company names as their trademarks, and counterfeiters steal such trademarks to deceive. In order to prevent being deceived, when purchasing, pay attention to which company is marked on the outer packaging or manual of the product to confirm the company's product. For example: a color TV with the trademark HITACHI can only be confirmed to be a product of Hitachi if you see the word "HITACHI CORPORATION" produced by the company on its outer packaging and instructions. In addition, most of the original manufacturer's product manuals have a C mark printed on the first page. The letter C is the prefix of copy right in English, which means "all rights reserved, no reproduction allowed".
