Recently, the Xinyang Tea Association sued a company suspected of infringing its trademark rights in the local court, demanding that it stop its suspected infringement and compensate for economic losses.

It is understood that when selling its tea products, the company uses patterns and words similar to the Xinyang Tea Association’s trademark, which can easily lead consumers to mistakenly believe that its products are related to the Xinyang Tea Association. It has caused commercial damage to the Xinyang Tea Association. Therefore, the Xinyang Tea Association filed a lawsuit in accordance with the law to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests.

The Xinyang Tea Association stated that it will further strengthen the protection and maintenance of trademark rights and promote the development of Xinyang’s tea industry. At the same time, it also calls on all companies to strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations, not to infringe other people's legitimate rights and interests such as trademark rights and copyrights, and to protect the good image of the entire industry.
