Hongjiang orange fruit has a large shape, thin and smooth skin, orange-red flesh, tender meat, juicy and stale, moderate sweetness and sourness, and a unique flavor. It is known as the "fairy peach on earth" in China and abroad. Known as the "King of Chinese Oranges", it is a famous new variety of tangerines in my country. Over the years, Hongjiang oranges and their cultivation have been successful and have won a series of honors: in 1978, the Zhanjiang area citrus selection work conference classified Hongjiang oranges as special oranges; in 1980, the National Agricultural Reclamation Southern Fruit Award 64 citrus varieties were evaluated at the meeting, and Hongjiang Orange ranked among the best. It was rated as a "good fruit for state banquets" and was allowed to be entertained at state banquets. They have been exclusively supplied to the Diaoyutai Hotel in Beijing over the years. Used to entertain foreign guests and envoys, it was rated as "China's Famous Brand Agricultural Products" in 2006, and the Hongjiang Orange Renewal Planting Project has now been included in the National Spark Plan.
