What is pure sulfur-based fertilizer?

Pure sulfur is a concept introduced by Stanley Company to achieve product differentiation, and it has registered its trademark in the Industrial and Commercial Bureau.

The pure sulfur-based compound fertilizer in the market refers to the compound fertilizer produced with potassium sulfate as raw material, not the potassium sulfate compound fertilizer produced with dechlorination of potassium chloride as raw material.

According to the national standard, as long as the chloride ion content is less than 3%, it is potassium sulfate compound fertilizer, and potassium sulfate is also produced from potassium chloride, so there is no essential difference between them.

According to chemical properties, chemical fertilizers can be divided into:

1. Physiologically acidic fertilizers. In the aqueous solution of chemical fertilizer, forage grass absorbs too many cations of fertilizer, and the remaining anions generate corresponding acids, which make the solution sour. Most ammonium salts and potassium salts belong to this kind of fertilizer.

2. Physiological alkaline fertilizer. According to the composition of nutrients, chemical fertilizers can be divided into: nitrogen fertilizer, phosphorus fertilizer, potassium fertilizer, compound fertilizer, trace elements and so on. Chemical fertilizers can be divided into base fertilizer and topdressing according to their uses.
