Fushun Amber, a specialty of Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is a trademark product of chinese national geography.

Amber is the secretion of prehistoric plants, which is buried underground and formed at high temperature and high pressure. It is called resin fossil or resin fossil. Its refractive index is 1.54, and its hardness is 3. It is easy to process and make various craft carvings.

Fushun is a world-famous amber producing area and the only insect amber producing area in China. Fushun amber was formed in the early Eocene of Paleogene, more than 50 million years ago, more than 30 million years earlier than Baltic amber. It is a unique mineral resource in Fushun West Open-pit Coal Mine, with rich varieties, tough texture, bright color and scarce output. Mainly used for making carving crafts and jewelry.
