How to transfer a trademark to a personal name?
The process of trademark transfer to individual name:

1. You need to fill in the Application for Trademark Transfer Registration at the Trademark Office, and prepare the identity documents (photocopies) of the transferee and the transferee, submit the power of attorney issued by the transferee, the original and photocopy of the ID card of the transferee's agent (which can be handled in the lobby), and if the relevant documents and application documents are in foreign languages, you should also provide relevant materials for Chinese translation signed and confirmed by the translation agency;

2. Acceptance: The Trademark Office refers to the transfer materials of both parties, and the time from receiving the transfer application documents to issuing the transfer acceptance notice is 1 to 2 months;

3. Examination: Within 4 to 6 months after receiving the notification of accepting the assignment, the State Trademark Office shall examine the trademark to be assigned;

4. Announcement: After approval, an approval announcement will be issued, and a certificate of approval for the transfer of a registered trademark will be issued to inform the society that the relevant trademark has been transferred, so as to avoid confusion with the owner of the old trademark;

5. Issue a certificate of transfer: Issuing a certificate means that the trademark transfer is successful, and the transferor loses the trademark right and can no longer use the trademark.

Legal basis: Article 42 of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Where a registered trademark is assigned, the assignor and the assignee shall sign an assignment agreement and file an application with the Trademark Office. The transferee shall guarantee the quality of the goods using the registered trademark.

Where a registered trademark is transferred, the trademark registrant shall transfer the similar trademark registered on the same commodity or the same or similar trademark registered on similar commodities together.

The Trademark Office shall not approve the assignment that is likely to cause confusion or have other adverse effects, and shall notify the applicant in writing and explain the reasons.

After the transfer of a registered trademark is approved, it shall be announced. The transferee shall enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark from the date of announcement.
