It is reported that in order to strengthen the protection and utilization of industrial heritage and cultivate and develop China's characteristic industrial culture, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has deployed and carried out the second batch of national industrial heritage identification nationwide.
Upon the voluntary application of industrial heritage owners, recommendation of relevant provincial and municipal industrial and information authorities or central enterprises, expert review and on-site verification, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology intends to identify 42 industrial heritages, including the State-owned 738 Factory and Beijing Satellite Manufacturing Factory, as "the second batch of national industrial heritages".
The heritage group of "Maotai Brewing Workshop" takes the related cultural relics of the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units as the main project. The building of workshop ruins group is located in the area of Maotai Group's brewing, koji-making workshop and wine warehouse.
It mainly includes the former site of Cheng Yi curing barn, Ronghe curing barn, dry koji barn, Ronghe curing barn, Ronghe curing barn, Hengxing curing barn, fermentation barn in the first koji-making area, treading barn and fermentation barn in the second koji-making area, stone mill and dry koji barn in the second koji-making area and hook barn.
This heritage group has played an important supporting role in the application of Moutai brewing technology to the world cultural heritage, and is an important carrier for studying the development of liquor brewing technology in China.
What is Moutai made of?

Moutai is produced in Maotai Town, renhuai city, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, China. It is a characteristic liquor of Han nationality, and it is one of the three major distilled liquors with the same reputation as Scotch whisky and French cognac.
The trademark of Moutai was originally printed in woodcut, with only petal-shaped patterns, and the words of Kweichow Moutai were written in regular script. Later it was changed to continuous history paper lead printing. Trademark naming: Cheng Yi pub is Shuangde brand, Ronghe pub is Maisui brand, and Hengshi pub is Shan Ying brand.
1952, the system is changed to worker-peasant card. 1954 is divided into two trademarks: the domestic brand is Golden Wheel and the export brand is Tian Fei. During the Cultural Revolution, it was changed to sunflower brand, and the Golden Wheel brand and Tian Fei brand were restored, which have been in use ever since.
