How to review trademarks in Singapore?

After the trademark is submitted, it enters the review stage, where your trademark will be inspected to check whether the trademark is registrable. If your trademark application is acceptable for registration: your mark will be published in the Trademark Journal. If your trademark application is objective: you will receive an inspection report stating the reasons for rejection and will be asked to provide the necessary information or amend the application within 4 months. If you do not respond by the deadline, your application will be considered withdrawn.

If your trademark is acceptable for registration, it will be published in the Trademark Journal and will be available for public inspection for 2 months. If your trademark application is not opposed by any party: your application will proceed with the issuance of a registration certificate. If your trademark application is opposed by another party: You will receive a notice of the objection. The application process will be suspended pending the outcome of the opposition proceedings.

If your trademark application is not opposed, or the outcome of the opposition proceedings is in your favour, you will receive a Certificate of Registration from the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore. Your trademark is protected for 10 years.
