Circle R is the mark of "registered trademark", which means that the trademark has been registered in the State Trademark Office and has been approved by the Trademark Office to become a registered trademark.

R in the circle is the initial letter of English register registration. When used as a trademark, it means a registered trademark. According to China's Regulations on the Implementation of the Trademark Law, the use of registered trademarks can be marked with "registered trademarks" or registration marks on commodities, commodity packages, manuals or other accessories.

A trademark can also have no R. If the genuine product has R, then the product without R may be a fake.
