All consumer goods exported to Saudi Arabia (adults and children can use them at home, office or other leisure places) are designated as prescribed products. For example: household appliances, kitchen power tools, perfume, cosmetics, jewelry and so on. All motor vehicles and their accessories, all building materials, including paints and coatings. The current ICCP*** involves 66 products in five categories: Category I: toys, Category II: electrical appliances and electronic products, Category III: automobile products, Category IV: chemical products, Category V: other products (*** 10 product range). Medical products; Food; Military production. These products are exported to Saudi Arabia for SASO certification.

It used to be called saso certification, but now it is upgraded to saber certification, which is necessary for exporting to Saudi Arabia. Other categories include Saudi water school certification, Saudi eer energy efficiency certification, Saudi iecee certification, Saudi sfda cosmetics certification and so on.

The certificate that must be processed for export to Saudi Arabia is a compulsory certificate. Used for product registration, distribution and obtaining CoC certificate. Products will be classified into high, medium and low according to risk categories, and different conformity inspection procedures will be implemented by authorized institutions (such as INTERTEK, NEMKO, CQC, TUV and SGS).

SABER certification is an upgraded version of SASO certification, valid for 1 year, and can be reused within one year. Previously, SASO certification in Saudi Arabia was exported once, and the cost will naturally be higher than SASO certification, but overall it will save a lot.
