Follow the steps below and give it a try!

1. IPX/SPX protocol must be installed. (When playing the game, enter "Network" in the main menu of Red Alert, do not enter "Internet"). How to install the IPX protocol: Open Network Neighborhood, right-click the local connection to open properties, then click Install, open the protocol, find the ipx/spx protocol, click OK and OK

2. Select the card number.

In the main menu of Red Alert, click "Options"----"Network"---- and select the network card number. When you can't see other people, there are usually several card numbers. Click on a card number, then confirm, return to the main menu, and then enter the lobby to take a look. If that doesn't work, try changing your card number. That should solve the problem. LAN generally does not use the first card number.

3. Firewalls (including the firewall that comes with Windows and anti-virus software) must allow Red Alert to access the network.

4. If there is more than one network connection, it is best to disconnect the unused connection when playing Red Alert.
