1. Look for the packaging

Look for the traditional Chinese words "_山?" on the packaging (registered trademark of Yangshan government, only for Yangshan local honey) When using peaches, they must be exactly the same to be authentic)

Local growers in Yangshan can be authorized to use this trademark after being reviewed and approved by the government. If the peach packaging box you buy does not have the words "_山?" on it, it is not a local peach from Yangshan.

2. Look at the appearance

Authentic Yangshan peaches are plump and round, with flat or concave tops. An important feature that distinguishes authentic Yangshan peaches from other peaches is that the top of the fruit is not pointed, but flat or somewhat concave.

3. Look at the color

Authentic Yangshan peaches are white and red inside. When mature, the color is mostly milky yellow or milky white.

4. Look at the hardness

Authentic Yangshan peach tastes soft and glutinous when ripe, and is soft to the touch. When pressed, the juice overflows, and the mouth is sweet.
