Jingxing apples are better than Pingshan apples.
Jingxing apple, a specialty of Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, is on the National Geographical Indication Product Protection List. It has a plump appearance, beautiful color, sweet taste and rich nutrition. It has the hard power to rival well-known similar products at home and abroad. Jingxing Apple Apple won the "Gold Medal" at the Hebei Provincial Specialty Agricultural Products Exhibition and the "Gold Medal" at the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Fruit Competition in 2012. In February 2018, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce approved the registration of the "Jingxing Apple" geographical indication certification trademark.
The fruit of "Pingshan Apple" is bright in color, with fine flesh, crisp, juicy and residue-free, sweet and delicious, rich in flavor, unique in taste and of high quality. Due to the long growth period of the fruit, the harvest period is after frost, so it is also called "red in frost". However, due to its short cultivation history and low popularity, it is not as good as Jingxing apple.
