Panzhihua is the only subtropical fruit production base in Sichuan. It is rich in specialty fruits such as mango, loquat, lotus root, pomegranate, strawberry, and cherry. Fresh fruits are constantly available all year round.

1. Mango

There is no plum rain during the flowering period of Panzhihua mango, and there is no typhoon during the fruiting period. Due to strong light, sufficient heat and relative drought, it is conducive to the growth, flowering and fruiting of mangoes. Panzhihua mango, a specialty of Renhe District, Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, is a national geographical indication of agricultural products.

Second, loquat

Red soil is the most widely distributed, slightly acidic, and rich in organic matter, which is conducive to the accumulation of loquat inclusions. The abundant water resources provide irrigation conditions for Panzhihua loquat planting. On November 15, 2010, the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China approved the implementation of agricultural product geographical indication registration protection for "Panzhihua Loquat".

Third, Lotus mist

Also known as rose apple, purple apple, water apple, etc., it is a fruit that mainly grows in the tropics. Lianwu likes temperature and is afraid of cold. The optimal growth temperature is 25-30 degrees. It likes water and tolerates waterlogging.

Four. Pomegranate

Pomegranate is a deciduous shrub or small tree, and it is an evergreen tree in the tropics. Born in mountains with an altitude of 300-1000 meters. It likes a warm and sunny environment, and is resistant to drought, cold, and barrenness.

5. Strawberry

A perennial herbaceous plant, strawberry likes a warm and cool climate. The root growth temperature of strawberry is 5-30°C, the optimum temperature is 15-22°C, and the optimum temperature for stem and leaf growth is 20°C. -30℃, flowering and fruiting period 4-40℃.

Six, cherry

Cherry is a fruit tree that likes light, temperature, humidity and fertilizer. It is suitable for growing with an average annual temperature of 10-12℃ and an annual precipitation of 600-700mm. It grows under climate conditions with sunshine hours of 2600-2800h or more.
