When did the production of Hongtashan cigarettes begin:
The Yuxi Cigarette Factory of Hongta Group is backed by a mountain. There was an ancient pagoda on the mountain that was once pure white, standing among the green mountains and white clouds. People in the past called It is a white pagoda, hence the name of the mountain. In the 1950s, its silence was completely changed. People rushed to the top of the White Pagoda and painted the entire White Pagoda red. The White Pagoda became dazzlingly red overnight.
Since then, the White Pagoda has been renamed Hongta, and the mountain has also been renamed Hongta Mountain. The history of the tower and the mountain has begun again. In 1956, a small tobacco leaf re-curing factory was born here.
In 1959, as a gift for the 10th anniversary of the National Day, the factory decided to produce a high-quality, high-end cigarette and mobilized all employees of the factory to develop it on their own. The evolution of the tower triggered the inspiration of several young people such as She Zicheng and Ye Zuwang. They designed the "Hongta Mountain" cigarette trademark based on the idea of ??"Hongta Mountain" where the factory is located.
After hundreds of formulation studies in the factory, the first pack of "Hongtashan" brand cigarettes was developed and produced in September. It is worth noting that Yuxi Cigarette Factory has successively produced famous cigarettes such as "Hongtashan", "Yuxi", "Ashima", "Congratulations on the New Year" and "Hongmei".
