1. First, look at the outer packaging box of the bearing. The general packaging box has white characters, a blue background, and a red strip below. However, some of the products produced in the past two years are flower boxes with several SKF trademarks on them.
2. Look at the production date of the bearing. If you open the bearing packaging box from the side, there will be a production date and date code on the box.
3. Bearings produced after 2000 will have a barcode on the packaging box.
4. Look at the bearing model. The bearing model has the suffix letters A, B, C, D, E, etc. These letters represent different production years. See the attached table for specific information.
5. Pay attention to the SKF font on the trademark. S is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. There are pits on the left vertical strokes of K and F.
6. Looking at the steel seal, there are two types of letters indicating the model and place of origin on SKF bearings: pickling and laser processing. It is smooth when touched by hand, and the fonts of fake bearings are usually engraved on them.
7. Look at the place of origin. Ball bearings are made in: Malaysia, Italy, France, and the United States (bearings made in the United States are generally only used in the United States); short cylindrical bearings are made in: Germany; angular contact bearings are made in: Austria; spherical roller bearings are made in: Malaysia (usually Small 2315, 2316, 2318), Sweden (large model), Germany (large model); needle roller bearing origin: Germany.
8. After the bearing is unpacked, the large bearing is usually in a sealed plastic bag, and the small bearing is in plastic wrapping paper. There is a layer of grease on the bearing, and the real bearing has a bright appearance without rust or pitting.
