Recently, the US Food and Drug Administration and Research Institute in China issued a notice for comments on the Catalogue of Prohibited Cosmetic Raw Materials, in which the contents of boric acid, marigold extract and other ingredients are prohibited! Domestic prohibition of related raw material ingredients, on the one hand, can eliminate potential safety hazards, on the other hand, can be on the same track with foreign standards, with far-reaching significance!
In fact, in 2005, the European Consumer Products Scientific Committee (SCCP) proposed in its opinion SCCP/0869/05 that marigold extract and oil were phototoxic, so it was suggested that marigold extract and oil should not be used in cosmetics. 20 18 the European union listed marigold as a prohibited ingredient in cosmetics!
