The leading products "Shagang" brand wide plate, hot rolled coil, high-speed wire rod, large coil wire rod and ribbed steel bar have formed dozens of series, more than 500 varieties and more than 2,000 specifications. Among them, high-speed wire rod, ribbed steel bar and other products have won the titles of "Gold Cup Award with the physical quality reaching the international advanced level", "National Inspection-free Product" and "National Customer Satisfaction Product", and the ribbed steel bar has also obtained CARES certification. High-quality high-speed wire rod won the title of "China Famous Brand" and "Export Inspection-Free", and its domestic market share reached 33%. The total output and export of high-quality wire rods rank first in China year after year. In 2007, Shagang adhered to the road of innovation and development, constantly optimized product structure, deepened energy conservation and emission reduction, and promoted asset restructuring. The production and operation of enterprises continued to maintain a good development trend. The first is the product structure optimization project. Shagang should be refined, excellent and strong, focus on the optimization, adjustment and upgrading of product structure, and strive to build the enterprise into a first-class production base of high-quality wire rod, extra-wide plate and special steel in China, and improve the added value of products. At the same time, it is necessary to further lengthen the industrial chain, lock in the upstream iron ore, coal and other resources, dredge the logistics platform, and extend the deep processing capacity of downstream products, so as to form the production capacity of high value-added products such as 6.5438 million tons of seamless steel pipes, 2 million tons of cold-rolled plates and 6.5438 million tons of straight welded pipes without increasing the total amount.
In order to realize the product structure optimization project, Shagang will base itself on itself, speed up the construction of Jiangsu Iron and Steel Research Institute, make full use of the national enterprise technology center, postdoctoral mobile workstations and other technical platforms, improve the independent innovation system, insist on the annual investment in scientific research of not less than 250 million yuan, and increase the development of independent intellectual property products and technologies. At the same time, we will further strengthen cooperation with Industry-University-Research, a famous institution of higher learning and research institutes at home and abroad, develop high-end products such as high-quality plates, and accelerate industrial upgrading.
The second is mergers and acquisitions and asset restructuring projects. Shagang regards promoting joint reorganization as an important strategic step of scientific development and innovative development, and adheres to the principle of "easy first, difficult later, distant later, internal later, supplemented by upstream and downstream industries with high correlation", and insists on taking capital as a link, selecting the best acquisition target, steadily promoting mergers and acquisitions, improving industrial concentration and optimizing the company's resource allocation.
The third is the recycling project of energy saving and emission reduction. Further optimize the circular economy production mode of "resources-products-renewable resources".
