Soda Green was originally a band from Taiwan, China, consisting of Wu Qingfeng (vocalist), Xie Xinyi (bassist), Shi Junwei (drummer), Liu Jiakai, He Jingyang, and Gong Yuqi. He made his debut in 2004 with the release of his first single "Sight, Sound and Illusion in the Air" and won many honors as soon as he debuted as "Soda Green". At that time, the reputation of Taiwan Soda Green was immediately established.

In 2006, the album "Little Universe" was released. In 2007, he collaborated with the popular Angela Chang on the single "Blue Eyes". In the same year, the joint album "Little Universe" won the Taiwan Golden Melody Award for Best Band. Wu Qingfeng won the Taiwan Golden Melody Award for Best Band. The song "Little Love Song" won the Best Composer Award. It was also this year that the fame of soda green spread throughout the country. In 2007, almost everyone could hum a little love song.

After 2007, the group has developed better and better, releasing albums, participating in activities, holding concerts, and has maintained high-quality output. It wasn't until 2018 that Wu Qingfeng announced that he would start his own company in 2019 and take charge of the group's management affairs. From then on, he began to fight for the "Soda Green" trademark for four years. Because "Soda Green" is already owned by the company run by their previous manager Lin Weizhe, and even if Wu Qingfeng leaves the previous management company with the rest of the band, he cannot use the original name of their band "Soda Green".

So from 2019 to May 2022, Wu Qingfeng and the others had no choice but to change their name to "Yu Ding Shi". After several rounds of pulling, the former manager Lin Weizhe finally issued a document on May 30 to abandon the "Soda Green" trademark. With the ownership, Wu Qingfeng and the others could finally appear in front of everyone under the name Soda Green. Fans rushed to tell each other, and there was quite a feeling of "Ye Qing coming back".
