Big-tailed Han sheep is a local sheep breed with meat, wool and wool. It migrated into China along the old course of the Yellow River, concentrated in Linqing and guanxian, and was also raised in other counties and cities. Its breed characteristics are: docile temperament, strong adaptability, rapid growth and development, high reproductive rate, white back hair, raised nose, drooping ears, tough limbs, fan-shaped tail, covering below hock joint. Adult sheep produce 2-3 kg of wool every year, with the maximum of 4 kg, and unmyelinated hair accounting for 95%, belonging to 56-58 homogeneous semi-fine wool type. The slaughter rate of fattening sheep is about 50%, the net meat rate is below 35%, the meat quality is fresh and tender, and the tail quality is hypertrophy; Fur boards are long and soft and won't roll into strands. Lamb skin plate is thin, dense and solid, and the abdomen is spiral. It is the raw material and export commodity for dyeing multicolor fur products, and enjoys the reputation of "Pearl Mao Juan" at home and abroad.
