What do you mean by trademark waiting for substantive examination?
The state of trademark waiting for examination means that the trademark has passed the formal examination and is in the stage of waiting for substantive examination, and it also shows a state of examination in the process of trademark trial.

Legal basis: Article 28 of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Trademark Office shall complete the examination of the trademark applied for registration within nine months from the date of receiving the application documents for trademark registration. If it meets the relevant provisions of this Law, it shall make a preliminary examination and make an announcement.

Article 33 of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), within three months from the date of the preliminary examination and approval announcement, if the prior obligee or interested party thinks that the trademark violates the provisions of Article 13, paragraphs 2 and 3, Article 15, Article 16, paragraph 1, Article 30, Article 31 and Article 32 of this law, or if anyone thinks that it violates Article 4, Article 10, Article 11 and Article 32 of this law, there is no objection at the expiration of the announcement period.
