You can distinguish the authenticity of Liuyang River wine through the following aspects:
1. Anti-counterfeiting label. Authentic Liuyanghe wine bottles have special anti-counterfeiting labels on the back or neck and are printed with wheat ears. These anti-counterfeiting labels have the characteristics of three-dimensional structure, uniqueness and non-replicable, and since January 2017, all products have been affixed with these anti-counterfeiting labels.
2. Product packaging. The packaging of authentic Liuyang River wine will be marked with the words "50th Anniversary" and will not have the words "internal special supply". The wine label on the bottle is yellow gold foil, and the small label is "Liuyang River·Five Grain Brands". Counterfeit products may be marked with the words "China's Well-known Trademark", which is prohibited from circulation by the state.
3. Bottle cap design. Genuine Liuyanghe wine will have the trademark "Liuyanghe·Five Grain Brewing" on the bottle cap, while counterfeit products may be marked with "China's Well-known Trademark". The font on the genuine bottle cap is yellow and relatively thin, and the two silver rings on the cap are recessed. The counterfeit products have thicker fonts and a flat silver ring on the lid.
4. Origin identification. Make sure the wine bottle states the place of origin is Liuyang City, Hunan Province. Liuyang River wine is a famous wine unique to this region, so the real Liuyang River wine can only be produced in Liuyang City.
5. Other identification methods. For example, by observing the color and transparency of the wine, real Liuyang River wine usually appears transparent, colorless or light yellow, with no turbidity or obvious sediment. Methods such as fire detection, water detection, and hop observation can also be used to assist in identification.
