Liqueur is a transliteration of English liqueur, which is also translated as "Likou" or "Li Jiao". It is made of neutral wine such as brandy, whisky, rum, gin, vodka or wine, added with fruit juice and syrup, soaked in various fruits or spices, distilled, soaked and boiled, and contains at least 2.5% sweet syrup. Sweet syrup can be sugar or honey.
