With the consent of the State Council, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued the first batch of announcements on May 15th, 212 to clean up and standardize professional qualifications, and the patent agents in charge of China National Intellectual Property Administration were included in the first batch of announcements. The first batch of vocational qualifications announced include two types of vocational qualifications: access and level evaluation. Access professional qualifications include 36 patent agents, which are mainly set according to relevant laws and regulations; The level evaluation vocational qualification is set by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in conjunction with the relevant industry authorities in the State Council, combined with the needs of industry development and management, according to the relevant provisions of the national vocational qualification certificate system; The professional qualifications of skilled personnel in the above two categories are set according to the Occupational Classification Ceremony of the People's Republic of China, the corresponding national occupational standards and relevant regulations. The establishment of patent agents is based on the Regulations on Patent Agents promulgated by the State Council. Since the State Council promulgated the Regulations on Patent Agency in 1991, China National Intellectual Property Administration has organized 13 national patent agent qualification examinations. Up to now, there are 14,496 people in * * nationwide who have obtained the qualification of patent agents.
